Meet Scott
Scott Cobett is the Founder of Mesa West, bringing over 20 years of experience leading marketing, communcations, and brand strategy teams for globally recognized companies. Most recently, Scott served as Chief Marketing Officer at Wheel Pros, where he led Go-to-Market, brand development, product launches, athlete partnerships, events, and integrated marketing initiatives for one of the largest aftermarket automotive distributors in the world.
Scott’s impact in the industry has been widely recognized—in 2019, he was named by SEMA Magazine as one of the 35 most influential leaders in the automotive industry under 35.
Before joining Wheel Pros, Scott served as the Global Communications Program Manager at Oakley, where he led internal brand development, strategic campaigns, and global communications for the iconic lifestyle and performance brand. His work included collaborating with major media outlets such as 60 Minutes, managing high-profile events involving figures like Lance Armstrong and Oscar Pistorius, and navigating critical moments such as the Chilean Miner Crisis.
Additionally, he played a key role in redefining Oakley’s core values, helping the brand deepen its understanding of what it truly meant to be Oakley.
With a career defined by visionary leadership, impactful strategy, and measurable results, Scott founded Mesa West in 2019 to provide businesses with tailored marketing strategies and a collaborative, anti-template approach to growth.
